Cosmetology Programs Jacksonville, FL

The forecast for the beauty industry is always positive – even in uncertain economic times. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs in Cosmetology and Barbering are projected to grow 11% through 2031 – a rate that is much faster than the average for all industries. The constant evolution of the industry requires continuous training and education to stay competitive. But if you’re just starting out, you’ll need to enroll in a cosmetology program to acquire the foundational skills for success in the industry and understand Florida’s regulations for safe practice. State-accredited programs cover at least 1,200 hours of technical and theoretical studies to prepare for Florida’s cosmetology licensing exam.
