Fort Worth Beauty School 

The manicure program at Fort Worth Beauty School prepares students to provide professional nail care services to clients. Students will learn the proper procedures for manicures and pedicures as well as procedures for avoiding nail infections. The course content is approved by the state board and includes the requirements for practicing manicurists. Learning will commence in the classroom but will primarily be conducted in the salon where students will practice and learn the common industry tools before tending the clients of the salon. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Tint School of Make-up and Cosmetology

The Manicuring program at Tint School of Make-up and Cosmetology will help students grow their artistic painting and sculpting skills to provide nail care services. Students will learn how to perform manicures and pedicures, apply artificial nails, nail art techniques, and much more. They will further develop their skills through practical experiences in the client spa where they will work with clients under the supervision of experienced faculty. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Full-time students meet 32 hours a week and part-time students meet 24 hours a week. New start dates begin every month.

Dallas Lash Academy

The Manicure Program at Dallas Lash Academy teaches students classic and creative techniques in nail design. The curriculum emphasizes the art and science of professional nails in the classroom and through practical operations in the school’s salon. The majority of the coursework will be covered through real-world experiences with clients.  Areas of study include nail technology supplies, professional nail cosmetic products, acrylic nails, basic pedicures, nail shapes, safety and sanitation, nail art, nail disorders and diseases, anatomy and physiology of the hands and feet, business management and success skills, state board training, and mock board practical and technical exams. Sol Nail Academy

The Manicure course at Sol Nail Academy is approved by the State of Texas. The program prepares students to fill the role and function of a manicurist in salon, spas, and similar facilities. Areas of study include anatomy and physiology of hand and feet, safety and sanitation, nail art, nail technology supplies, nail shapes, business management and success skills, state board training, and mock board practical and technical exams. The school offers a traditional on-campus option as well as an online route for students who prefer social distancing. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Full-time classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Part-time classes meet Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

I.T.S. Beauty Academy – Denton

ITS Beauty Academy is committed to providing students with the marketable skills they need to succeed. The program delivers knowledge and skills specific to a career in manicuring. Lash and Brow Academy

Students enrolled in the Advanced Nail Artistry Program at 3D Lash and Brow will learn the art of nails. The program is approved and licensed by the TDLR and can be taken 100% online, in person, or hybrid. Hybrid students will complete 50% of the program online and 50% on campus. Classes will be streamed for online students. Students will learn from experienced instructors in the classroom as well as from monthly guest speakers and panned field trips designed to enhance the learning experience. Course topics include manicures, pedicures, tips and acrylics, fill-ins, massage techniques, nail art, salon management, sculpted nails, and preparation for the state exam. New classes begin each month.
