The demand for hair and skin care services has never been greater. Lockdowns, restrictions, and new requirements for visiting salons during the global pandemic have created a new urgency among patrons. Even more startling is that demand for esthetics training is at an all time high and esthetician schools are here to deliver. The reopening of schools in Texas saw an influx of new students ready to train for the industry. The programs are available in traditional (on-campus) formats but hybrid and online options are also available for those who are still a bit cautious in venturing out. Moreover, smaller class sizes not only cater to personalized instruction but help students maintain a distance from other students. Graduates can rest assured that the industry will bounce back as consumers need and look forward to their beauty fix – especially during a global crisis.
