East Valley Institute of Technology
The Plumbing Service and Repair Technician Program at EVIT prepares students with skills to function as a qualified technician in plumbing service, repair and installation. The training will combine plumbing theory, hands-on assessments, practical real-world activities. Areas of study include construction trades safety, customer service and communication skills, professionalism, problem-solving, residential water safety, green technologies, sales and marketing strategies, job readiness, and green technologies. Graduates will receive certifications from George Brazil Plumbing and National Center for Construction Education and Research as well as other manufacturer specialty certifications. They will be eligible to entry level employment in the field as repair and installation technicians. The course is a dual enrollment course. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.

NTI’s plumbing program provides a fast-track to a successful career in the plumbing industry. The contractor driven curriculum includes theory and hands-on training in topics such as blueprint reading, waste systems, plumbing fundamentals, water supply systems, waste systems, finish and advanced plumbing. Coursework in professional development and job placement skills seeks to produce well-rounded leaders for the industry.
